Farm to Cup.
Hillary and Thomas Steinwinder asked themselves a question several years back. "We drink so much tea here in the south, why aren't there any quality, farm-to-cup tea farms that are local to South Mississippi. This is when they had the vision to start their very own farm in the heart of the Deep South.

Longleaf Tea Company prides itself in growing their tea in the pine-needle enriched soil here in the south and providing the nation with locally grown and hand-plucked tea that can stand up against the best brews in the world.
I was asked to develop an identity and a visual language for the Longleaf Tea Co. brand. I styled the letters in the primary mark to match the timeless southern hand-done sign painting that you can still find fading on buildings in the Laurel area. The crossed "long leaf" tea leaves in the roundel serves as a seal of quality that the tea provides. I was also asked to design their seasonal subscription service, "Steep Society" that gives customers a chance to get the first dibs on the harvest.
